Peonies

My sister brought me some peonies today.  She sure has a way with words when it comes to describing peonies, this is what she said:

"Loving the peony for me is trusting in the disorderly order of nature.  They are beautifully messy and at the same time perfectly put together.  It's a calm crazy."

Good, huh?  The other good thing is that I get to enjoy them on my kitchen counter for a few days.  Believe me, I am super thankful!
