I love this! Takes me back to my young days of forced family labor. They are good memories and I think a good work ethic is a gift more parents need to be giving their children. And the sight of that much wood stacked makes me feel very happy for you. It's that whole filling the buckets before it rains philosophy. Love it.
We bought it this winter, have been using it in our fireplace when the mood strikes (a few times a week), and will use it for the summer campouts ad bonfires, and again next winter, for Bethlehem, and if there is ever a need to keep our family warm with an alternative heat source. I read that some people in the DC area were burning books from their shelves in an effort to stay warm when systems failed in the big storms. Not me, not burning books, not ever!
Gotta love those 'free' work outs. As in getting something done and getting an awesome work out in the process! XO!

ReplyDeleteIs that left over from winter or are you so on the ball that you are all ready for summer campouts and bonfires? Either way, pretty impressive.
